Greetings from Ireland.
We are back in Ireland for three months on our cruising motor boat "Echidna". Starting from Banagher we have travelled down on the Shannon to the top of Lough Derg and then back up to Shannon Harbour to enter The Grand Canal.
Our aim is to travel The Grand Canal, The Barrow Navigation, into Dublin and then back to the Shannon via The Royal Canal. Locally this route is known as "The Green and Silver".
